The decision to have two kiddos, so close together in age, was a conscious one, and whilst the plan (so far) is coming together, in that they are currently thick as thieves and keep each other relatively well entertained, whilst I swig wine; it most definitely comes with it's challenges.
One of them, being making the time to have QT 1:1 with butter-wouldn't-melt Zac. Every now and then I take a day off work and whip him out of nursery to spend a day on and off buses and trains, roaming the many floors of the Liverpool Central Library, riding the escalators, running up and down stairs outside the beautiful St George's Hall and chit chatting about current affairs aka transformers and the such.
On this specific day I took along my trusty camera to document these rare but precious days we get together. I look forward to holding the prints in our hands in his adult years and reminisce with his own kids about the days when it was just us.
We are #theeverydaystorytellers—mothers who span across four different countries and have 22 children between us. We are all passionate, hard-working women with one common goal in mind. To document childhood. This is week 6. Our hope is to grow in our craft, inspire each other and preserve our children’s memories. Our goal is to document with intention, dedicating time each week to create a collection of images that tell the story of our everyday lives. The calm and the chaos. The beauty and the mess. The magic in the everyday details. The perfectly imperfect moments that weave together and make up our lives.
