Today I’m going to go over how to find the best locations for your personal brand images, that will represent your brand, the way you want. There are so many options, you’ll come out of this feeling inspired and full of ideas!
Cafes are one of my favourite personal brand shoot locations!
Do some research on cafes in your local area and you are sure to find one that matches your brand aesthetic, whether it’s modern and minimal, or cosy and homely vibes - they’ll be something perfect for you guaranteed.
My favourite places to find the best cafes are on TikTok! With so many people on there, no stone is unturned so go take a look at cafes in your area.
Hiring a studio for the day is an amazing location for personal brand shoots. These give you the freedom to play around with your environment and really get the look you want.
You can choose your backgrounds, get the perfect lighting, and bring in props that represent you. For example, a stool, some plants, and your laptop, can really bring a clean, professional look.
I like offices or co-working spaces as locations for personal brand shoots because it always looks very authentic.
Find a place in the office/co-working space with a couple of windows so you can get the best lighting, and then get the camera out and do your best unposed posing!
Consider renting an AirBnb or hotel out for the day for your personal brand shoot!
I love doing this because due to the huge range we have, you’ll always be able to find one that represents you and your brand.
Plus, you have somewhere to stay the night before or evening of the day of your personal brand shoot! You can take your time to get ready, no rushing to the location and if they have a spa and pool, you can wind down in the evening!
Having your personal brand shoot at home is something people often forget. What they don’t realise is there is so much potential with your home. Homes work well for more casual and lifestyle shoots and they always look so authentic!
Go over to the kitchen and make a coffee, go to your home office and get some working shots, head to the garden for some fun!
One of the reasons I love personal brand shoots at home is because it’s a place where you are already comfortable and secure. The more comfortable you feel, the better the photos will turn out!
How about heading over to a showroom for your personal brand shoot!
This is another great option if you’re looking for a very specific lifestyle set out, as when you go to showrooms, there are so many different styles of room you can explore all under one roof.

This can be very weather dependent but when the weather's good, natural lightning will always beat studio lighting.
Head over to your local parks and gardens, take a stroll through the markets, there are endless opportunities for unreal brand photos!
